How to make Buddhist prayer beads

Parts purchased at the temple

I bought it on Amazon.

Tools purchased at the 100 yen shop

Just glue both ends of the string
together and thread it through the
hole.

The hole in the small ball was too small
to fit the string through.

I stretched the string
and secured it with glue.

This time it was successful.

Pass the string through the
main ball from right to left.

Bend the tip of the clip.

Insert the clip from underneath
and pull the string.

From here it gets difficult

I bought some more at
the 100 yen shop.
File and wire needle

I made the hole bigger.
Thread the Wire needle through the hole

Use the parts that come with
the main ball

I also used balls I bought at
a 100 yen shop.

It's finished!

The thread attached to the tassels was quite thick, so it was difficult.
1.0mm will pass through easily.

A typical Buddhist rosary is made up of 108 beads.
However, there are various types.
The number of balls available is 14, 18, 21, 27, 36, 42, 54, 1080, etc.
I think it's nice to have your own rosary.
